Our story
Born from a love of the Canary Islands
At The Wild Canary, we want you to fall in love with the magic of the Canary Islands. Our mission is simple: to create holidays where you spend your days outside moving your body and exploring our dramatic landscapes, while diving into the islands' incredible local food, wine and culture.
It all started when our founders, Annabel and Adrián, met. When Adrián, born and bred in Gran Canaria, first brought Annabel home to the island, every single day became a new adventure: winding through the mountains by bike, hiking lush valleys, plunging into the fresh Atlantic, and sampling seasonal dishes. It was a trip like no other.
That unforgettable experience sparked a passion. They realised they wanted to share the true heart and soul of these islands with the world.

The Wild Canary retreats are exactly what Annabel had always searched for but could never find: a chance to move, try new things, embrace the outdoors and genuinely connect with local culture, all without the exclusive, high-end price tag.
